Linjalerna inkluderar linjaler i rostfritt stål, raka kanter av aluminium, linjaler av korkstöd, ficklinjaler och koniska mätare. Med olika graderingar (metriska  och imperialistiska markeringslinjer, som inkluderar mm, cm eller 1/64, 1/32, 1/16, 1/8 tum) och konverteringstabell.
Användning av linjal
